Overview
Marketplay (“we”, “us”) provides a platform that turns customer data into digital twins (“personas”) for marketing agencies. This policy explains what data we process, why, and the rights you have over it.
Data we process
Account data. Information you provide when you create an account: name, email address, and agency details.
Client data. Customer data you import on behalf of your clients, such as CSV exports, call audio, transcripts, and CRM logs. It is processed solely to detect segments, generate digital twins, and power interviews and creative testing for that client.
Usage data. Basic technical information required to operate the service, such as login events and error logs.
How we use data
We process data to provide and improve the service, generate and maintain personas, respond to support requests, meet legal obligations, and communicate with you about your account.
Client data isolation
Each client’s data is partitioned at the data layer and is never visible to or used for another client. The only exception is the cross-client persona reuse you explicitly select, which names the source client transparently.
Legal bases
We process personal data on the basis of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and consent where required.
Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active. Client data is retained while the corresponding client exists in your account. Archived personas are hidden but retained; permanent deletion is available on request through support.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@marketplay.cloud.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
